Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Lipstick

I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. It is my first YSL makeup product. The diamond shaped lipstick makes application a breeze. It is really awesome for the cupid's bow on the lips. It defines it nicely. I like the formula a lot. I wish it lasted just a bit longer, but it is a good matte formula.

INCREDIBLY HYDRATING MATTE LIPSTICK

This is one of the fewer matte lipsticks I have enjoyed using in the winter. At first, I was skeptical of the diamond shaped applicator - it seemed a little redundant, but I found that it actually allows me to draw a very defined cupid's bow (which I like), and even lets me line my lips without a liner. It doesn't bleed or crease (I tested it with 5-6 hours of wear), but I did use a lip balm under it and exfoliated my lips first. I usually have dry lips year-round, so I was really surprised by this. It's a very approachable burnt, red-orange hue and perfect for the holiday season. It looked great on my medium-deep tan skin with golden undertones. The packaging is very premium and would also make a great holiday gift! I took one star off since it didn't have as high a color payoff as I would expect for an almost $40 lipstick. Then again, I think that's okay since it isn't a liquid lipstick - but definitely something I would have personally preferred.

I received this color in Orange Desire. It’s one if the best Matte lipsticks I’ve ever tried. The formula is smooth and applies evenly. The slim applicator makes it easy to apply. I would definitely buy this lipstick in other colors. If you love matte lipsticks then I recommend you try this one.

Beautiful & Worth Buying!

I am in love with the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick in Psychedelic Chili! I have received so many compliments on this color! It goes on smooth but stays matte!! The color is gorgeous and flattering! I love the packaging as well. Definitely worth getting!

The formula is smooth and easy to apply. I wore this to a dinner with friends and I got a lot of compliments on it. I don’t normally wear bold lipstick colors but I love the way this one looks on me.

Beautiful and Bold!!

I love YSL lipsticks! They are gorgeous inside and out. I feel elegant pulling out my sleek lipstick in public and showing it off. I like that there is no scent unlike some of the competitors. My lips don’t feel dried out and the color is bold and beautiful. The square bullet helps apply along the lines of my lips. It’s very slim so you can fit it in the smallest bag or pocket while out and about. I have never owned a YSL lipstick I didn’t love. I highly recommend you give it a try!!

Stunning

Stunning, rich and smooth with a beautiful red color. Feels great on the lips and is long lasting. Packaging is a plus because it's simply gorgeous and so aesthetically pleasing.

I really enjoyed this lipstick. This orange red color isn't a color I typically wear on a daily basis but is beautiful and richly pigmented nonetheless. First, the gold and black packaging is gorgeous. It was a very smooth application onto the lips and was extremely comfortable to wear. There was some transfer and fading when I ate or drank but lasted for about 5-6 hours before I needed to refresh the application. This product is definitely a expensive at $39 but it's worth the splurge if you want to treat yourself!
