Beautiful but smell is horrific - immediate return

The color is GORGEOUS and the formula feels great and looks great… but the smell is horrid. It does not smell fruity but almost rotten or like milk that’s expired way past its date. I thought it was just the testers in store but it was not.

Color & case are pretty but the tingling is a pass

TL;DR: The color and packaging are absolutely gorgeous, but, unfortunately, the tingling that comes with this plumping lip oil, although much less intense than other similar products, just isn't for me.  WHAT I LIKE: * 44 Nude Lavalliere is such a pretty, soft, nude pink shade * Packaging is beautiful, luxe * The tingling feel of the plumping ingredients is much less intense (and not stinging, thankfully) than other similar products (but see comments below) * Can be worn on its own or as a topper AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * Would prefer if the plumping effect could be had without the tingling (though it is far less intense than other similar items on the market) FYI: * 9 shades in the initial release for this product, with 2 different finishes - 5 shades have a high shine finish, 4 have a more shimmery finish * Has more of a tingling (vs stinging) feel - it's not intense but you will feel it. I started noticing it about a minute after I applied the product & smooshed my lips together.It doesn't hurt but it also doesn't feel comfy. It lingered for less than 5 minutes. The intensity is more noticeable than the Lawless plumping gloss and less so than the Fenty plumping.  * Gives a bit of an appearance of fuller, plumper lips.  * There are other plumping lip glosses / lip oils available that are less expensive and offer more product. That said, this YSL plumping oil is on par, price-wise and size-wise with the Dior plumping gloss (though the formula, being an oil, is thinner, slicker than the Dior).  BUY, BUY, BUY or BYE-BYE?: * If there's a shade you love and you don't mind the tingling sensation, then this will be a BUY for you. While I find the tingling from the YSL to be something I can tolerate if I wanted to, it's not ideal. Since there are other lip plumpers that don't tingle at all, this will sadly be a pass (or BYE-BYE) for me.

Staple in my routine!!!

WOW!!!! This product is amazing. I’ve used lots of lip plumpers before like buxom and lip injection but this won me over so much. The burn is not intense and the result is stunning. I love the color it gives me and the smell isn’t too strong. Beautiful packaging and the applicator is great. 10/10 Received for free from influenster but would definitely repurchase

Extremely Painful Experience – Avoid it!

I wish I had known this lip balm contains pepper oil! It’s honestly one of the worst product experiences I’ve ever had. As someone who’s allergic to spicy food, applying this balm caused an immediate burning sensation on my lips and chin. My lips started swelling badly, and I’m now sitting here with an ice pack on my face, trying to ease the pain. This is a terrible idea for an ingredient in a product meant for soothing lips. There was no clear warning about the pepper oil either, which is incredibly irresponsible. If you have sensitive skin or any kind of reaction to spicy ingredients – do not use this product! I’m in agony and just hoping the swelling goes down soon. Total regret.

Does it again

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] YSL does it again. This love shine plumping lipgloss is everything. The color lucky moonstone is absolutely beautiful and perfect for those days you need just a shine. The applicator is incredible, really nice and big and easy to put on your lips although it can get a little stuck in the tube it’s still not difficult to maneuver out. The scent for the lipgloss is really nice as well. Overall I love everything about this item.

Ysl plumping

Ysl plumping lip oil! I love this product! The plumping sensation doesn't hurt at all like the other ones I've tried. It makes your lips look fuller with a little shine. The applicator works great to add an even amount of product. The packaging feels high quality. I would recommend this product!

Beautiful Lip Gloss!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This YSL Lip Gloss is beautiful from the packaging to the color! I received this as part of a promotion and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t notice a strong scent but the texture is rich and you can tell it’s made with quality ingredients and applicator.

Amazing!!!!

Is the product expensive? Yes, but I genuinely think it’s worth it. The color is stunning and doesn’t separate when used with lip liner or just bare on the lips. The plumping tingling is very minimal, and it’s a gorgeous shine. The smell is so refreshing. Nothing I’ve seen from other brands. just a

CAT PEE SMELL

Pretty packaging, love the sparkles and shade range but this gets a 1 because it smells like cat urine. Like if you went to a persons house who let cat pee stain the floors. You know exactly what I mean. How did this pass in production is beyond me. Pass

Beautiful lips

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] What a beautiful gloss. The texture and flavor is great as always from a reputable brand like this. However, I do feel a bit of burning on my lips but it does work on making my lips plump. The applicator is big enough to spread easily and the packaging was also good. Overall, a great product.
