Acidic Color Gloss - Θερμοπροστατευτικό Leave-in για Λαμπερό Χρώμα

Amazing product

This was the first time I tried a product from Redken and I fell in love. I have bleached wavy hair, due to the bleaching process the structure has been very damaged and since then it has been hard brushing/styling them. I desperately needed a heat protector and it does an amazing job at that, but it goes even further by giving my absolutely-dead hair shine and it makes them so soft I no longer need to use a conditioner. I have been excessively using the blow dryer and heat stylers just to push the product to its limit and am truly amazed at how good it works.

Heat protection and shine!

I have bleached hair that is very damaged from heat styling so was excited to try this with heat protection of up to to 230 degrees. The first time I tried it I put too much on as it made my hair feel slightly sticky and hard to style. The next time however I had learnt that a little goes a long way and didn't feel sticky or greasy at all. My hair was super glossy and smooth, reducing my frizz and lasted until my next wash after 3 days. I've used it a few times now and feel my hair is healthier and glossy which it lacked before so definately impressed. I feel like it is worth the price as looks like it is going to last a while and might try the shampoo and conditioner in the same range to enhance the results.

Smooth and Glossy Results

I have very curly hair which is also bleached so I have to be really careful with using heat on it. I was super excited to use this product as it promises a glossy finish and colour protection and that’s exactly what it did! My hair was already really smooth after just blowdrying and after I straightened it you could really see the glossy finish where my hair is bleached which can sometimes look quite dry. I’ll definitely be trying it the next time I blow dry my hair, for me I think it could be worth the price as I don’t do this often so it lasts longer but I’m not sure it would be worth it for someone who regularly uses heat on their hair. If you’re willing to spend a little more on a heat protectant that also enhances the look of your hair it’s definitely worth a try!

Mirror Like Hair

I received this product from Sephora in exchange for a honest review. I was so excited to try this as I love to look after my hair, always using heat protection as part of my routine, having my hair professionally coloured can put it at risk of damage. Which is why this heat protection is amazing, it helps to not only defend your hair up to 230°C but it gives you this mirror like sheen as the name suggests, not a dull surface in sight. My hair looks exactly like a salon finish, keeping the colour looking vibrant weeks after being in the salon. The effects of the heat protection where still evident days after use - I was massively impressed. My hair wasn't just shiny , it was sleek and soft and there was no heavy feeling or greasiness which you can sometimes experience with heat protection sprays. I simply sprayed my hair with a generous amount, on to damp hair, the mist that came out easily covered my hair without drenching it. The perfect spray. I highly recommend this for anyone who has coloured hair, it really does give you a beautiful finish, this will be a must have for my hair routine going forward.

Shiny, healthy feeling hair

This leaves your hair feeling very soft and shiny. My only criticism is that if you put too much on, it can make your hair feel a little greasy. I have long hair and 4 sprays is enough. Other than that a great product. Would recommend

Smooth, shining & protected.

I got the chance to test the Redken Acidic Gloss heat protector spray through a product test with the Sephora community. I have used Redken hair care previously and whilst I have not used styling products, I do like the shampoos and conditioners. For me the importance of hair protection in my routine is a non-negotiable. I bleach my hair regularly. The heat protection up to 230°c is very good, whilst most hair doesn't need styling to this temperature. My hair is glass like after using this product, I am naturally greasy and it didn't encourage greasiness any quicker. A light mist goes a long way, I would advise to section hair before applying. I can't comment on if it has protected my hair colour that well at this point as I have only been using it a week but my colour has not faded any further after my holiday. Having used this the past week, my hair looks and feels healthy, it is smooth and shiny. This product isn't any more expensive than my previous hair protector but do feel I used more of this in any one use, that being said it is a fine mist so it does go far. I would rate, give it a try, you may have found your new firm favourite.

Amazing Product

I had the chance to test this product through the Sephora Community. I really enjoyed using this spray as a heat protectant when styling my hair. The next day I felt that my hair had a nice shine to it and it felt smooth and looked less frizzy than usual. I noticed a huge difference using this compared to other heat protectant products I have used in the past. I would definitely recommend!

Smooth shine and protected

I got the chance to test the Redken Acidic Gloss heat protector spray through a product test with the Sephora community. When you hear the name include acidic you wonder how this is good for your hair. thespray claims to have a ph of 4.5 -5.5. Hair is naturally acidic, with a pH of around 3.5–4.5. Using products that maintain this natural, semi-acidic state is important for healthy hair. Please note I had to look that up. It provides heat protection of up to 230degrees. And gives a smooth glass shine finish for up to 3 days, and finally helps to protects hair colour. Use: the bottle sprays a fine mist to the hair. there is a pleasent citrus scent to the product. used before blow-dry and straightening I felt my hair was soft and smooth to the touch. My hair had a nice shine to it and looked healthy. The colour in my hair looked brighter. the shine does last. I have felt my hair has been protected using this spray especially as Ive recently cut my hair short and need to style and straighten it more frequently. I have liked using this compared to my usual heat protector. The price is more. Ive been using my 45ml trial bottle for just over a week and am already halfway through. So question the value factor. But it does help to keep hair in good condition.

Lovely product

this is a great product which has left my hair feeling very glossy and soft without making it look greasy, it has also tamed the frizz on the ends after blow drying as my hair is usually quite dry due to heat and colour damage. It has a nice fine mist, it also has a very light scent, if you prefer smells not to be to strong. I have used this product a few times so look forward to seeing the long term benefits of it.

Amazing product!

I used this product a few times now and I am genuinely so pleased with it. I have long fine wavy hair, therefore it goes without saying that I am possibly addicted to straightening my hair and always on the hunt for a good heat protection to minimise the damage I cause to my hair. I might have found THE ONE when I tried the Redken Acidic Color Gloss Hear Protection! I really like its unique smell - it really gives the salon vibes! It also protects from heat up to 230C which is really good for styling especially with curlers / straighteners. Now onto my favourite part ... the shine! The picture I attached speaks for itself but honestly, this product is the recipe for very shiny healthy hair! Absolutely amazing results and probably the best part of it is that it doesn't add any build-up to your hair like other products do. Will definitely continue using it and highly recommend.

Excellent Results!

I have used this twice & it really has made a difference to my hair. The product has a lovely, delicate fragrance & is easy to apply, with a fine mist to ensure that it gives a good coverage. I applied it after towel drying my hair & before blow drying it & using straighteners. After styling my hair, it felt beautifully soft, with a lovely shine & none of the usual flyaway hairs. My hair now feels super conditioned, which is amazing!

Great product! Does what it claims to!!

It left my hair shiny and hydrated and seemed to reduce damage and frizz! Great product - super happy so far!
